  Great pizza, great atmosphere, but unlucky for us, we ended up with a rude waitress! No one spoke to us when we came in and we seated ourselves like the sign said. Then we were ignored. We finally got our pizza order in and another waiter brought it out. No one ever checked on us again! We had to get up and get our own utensils and no one wanted to take our money. We had to ask for a to go box. Bad service all the way around! This is my first negative review ever.

  As a long time fan of the original La Kiva I was so excited when the new owners took the place over & wanted to be as supportive as possible with their new (and difficult) venture. Therefore I hope this review is taken as constructive & not just sour grapes.
  
  I visited for the 1st time under new management last week. Although we had prepared them for a large group, they had a single waitress & a single bartender selling drinks over the bar only. I waited 15 minutes to pay $5 for a not-so-cold, 10oz beer while behind me the line started to snake around the bar. By now, at the entrance, the line of people waiting to be seated went back into the parking lot.
  
  The food options are pricey ($15 hamburger, $22 12" pizza) and by what I saw not very good. I do wish the new owners the very best of luck with the place and hope they can solve these problems. I'll give it one more chance when I return to Terlingua.
